Cinderella: The Story
The storyline follows the original version where young Ella loses her mom and her merchant dad gets remarried to Ms. James (Cate Blanchett). Sadly upon her father’s death, Ella finds herself at the mercy of her stepfamily. The rest of the ladies in the house treat Ella like a servant and nickname her Cinderella.
When she’s just about to lose hope, Cinderella meets the prince of the town and both become interested in each other. As the prince gets to learn more about Cinderella, he finds her not only beautiful but also compassionate and charming. The prince bumps into Cinderella again at the ball as she’s wearing her gorgeous blue gown, glass slippers, and….well you know the rest of the story about how she loses one of her shoes and is soon reunited with the prince!
Cinderella thinks back to what her mom taught her at a young age: “Have courage and be kind. Where there is kindness, there is goodness and where there is goodness, there is magic.”
With everything Cinderella been through at home, she dusts herself off and gets her happy ending. The mix of fantasy and romance will leave fans falling in love all over again with the Cinderella story.
