The lack of post today is due to the fact that I am working on about 18 things at once. One of which is I am redesigning GenPink. I’m hoping to launch the redesign on my actual blogiversary but we’ll see.
Anyway, I need your input. For my redesign I am making plans for year 2 of GenPink and I’d like to know which categories/topics you guys would like to see more of. So … on the right there is a category drop down box, look through that and come comment back here to let me know which categories I should feature more often. I am also open to new topic ideas if you have some. I guess this is my way of asking – what would you like to see for year 2 of GenPink?
PS: *I’m looking for guest bloggers, might it be you? http://www.genpink.com/advice/
tough question! what if 29 yr olds wrote about things they learned in their 20s, or alternately, 20 yr olds can write about goals for their 20s. Something like looking forward and looking back when you’re on either edge of your 20s.
PS I’m always up for guestblogging! I will think of a good topic (am I really qualified? haha)
When I originally came over to this site it was hoping you’d be commenting on money, technology and community (careers, relationships) issues that are specific to 20-something women –
like buying new cars, houses, doing renovations and DIY projects on a budget (combining or keeping finances separate with significant others), how technology can help us combine the things that are important like the crazy, non-traditional careers many of us have, with maintaining a real life and not getting sucked into work too much (when we’re starting our own businesses, or working at start-ups and technology heavy companies)…
it seems like there are a lot of great resources out there – but none of the commentary is focused on how dynamic young women can put it all to greatest use in their lives – so what are the stories and adventures of the women out there who are doing that – who are mashing it all together and making it work somehow!!!
What I really hate is to see someone who normally writes a blog on some specific area, like finance or relationships, but normally writes for another audience and just marginally changes a few words and then throws the information back out there, thinking it’s perfect for us too – blah – I want to hear from people who can tailor their expertise to Our experiences, and apply more than just lip service to Our perspective.
And – yeah – stories from the women who have been through it all and made it work!
