Earn Rewards for Getting and Staying Fit with FitStudio

Make pressure free promises by setting goals, doing the work, and reap the rewards afterwards!

I participated in an Influencer Activation on behalf of Influence Central for Sears. I received a promotional item to thank me for participating.

It’s no secret that I am a card carrying geek girl. I am all about trying new gadgets, downloading apps, or checking out new technology. When I learned about FitStudio (which combines shopping, fitness and technology) I knew I had to investigate further. Here’s the short version – you earn points for working out that can be redeemed for real life things! Say, what?

I’ve been a fan of my FitBit for a year and half because of the virtual points I earn. It’s also fun to see how my fitness activity compares to my friends. But, had I known that I could have been earning clothes, shoes and other goodies I may have been extra motivated to fit in another workout here-and-there.

About FitStudio

Sears, America’s No. 1 fitness retailer, relaunched FitStudio.com – a free, one-stop fitness destination and rewards platform

We believe in sweat equity. So much so that we give you Shop Your Way® points for working out. Cash those points in for savings at Sears and Kmart on the stuff that fuels your everyday life. And for athletes, like us, it’s all about having the right stuff. It might be a trusted treadmill or a lucky pair of running shoes. Whatever the case, it makes us greater. Our gear reviews help lead you toward the things that just might give you that edge. Don’t get us wrong-we know there are limits to what gear can do. It can’t make you crank out ten more reps or run an extra mile. But incentives can, which brings us back to good ol’ sweat equity. Here’s how to start building yours today.

FitStudio simplifies fitness decisions such as purchasing equipment, creating workout regimens, and more.

Getting Connected

The sign-up process is quick and easy. I used Facebook connect so it could grab most of my info. You have several options for linking your current fitness accounts with FitStudio.

As you can see, I connected my fitbit as well as my account with mapmyfitness.

Features

Signing up with FitStudio is free, so you might as well go try it out and checkout the features yourself. But here are a few of my favorites

  • Goal Center: create multiple goals (with deadlines) to see an overview of how you’re doing
    FitStudio-goals
  • Workout Tracker: I’m all about data. So I love the daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly view of workout time, total distance, calories, etc. If you forgot your tracker device or if you don’t have on there’s also an option to manually add workouts.

  • Exercises: there are numerous how-to photos, videos and step-by-steps to help you reach your goals.
  • Workout Regimens: If you want to take it up a notch, you can join pre-created workout collections or create your own custom workout easily.
  • Gear Reviews and Ratings: if you’ve ever shopped for workout equipment you know how difficult it can be. FitStudio takes the guess work out of the process by rating each piece of equipment based on performance, console, comfort, features and value. An overall score is listed on each rating, along with video testimonials, and tips.
  • Deal of the Day: if you don’t know why I’m excited about this feature, clearly we can’t be friends. Also, can I have a bigger house to fit all the things?
  • Challenges: If you’re the competitive type, you might want to join in on some of the Global Challenges.
