Abi Ferrin

Designer Abi Ferrin’s motto, “Made for you. Not the hanger.” immediately caught our attention. Since Abi was 13, she knew she wanted to be a fashion designer. In 2007, she was named Texas’ Next Top Designer by Stanley Korshak and the Dallas Fashion Incubator. Her versatile and sophisticated fashion brand offers expertly designed pieces in easy-to-care-for fabrics providing a chic solution for women of all ages and body types.

Lucy Dang

I was thrilled to meet designer Lucy Dang at the new Belk flagship store in Galleria Dallas. Texas Next Top Designer, Belk’s Southern Designer Showcase 2013 and Southern Living’s “Southern Icon,” Lucy Dang’s brand is a form of reverie & inspiration for women around the world. A few pieces from her line, Lady by Lucy Dang, is offered at Belk flagship stores nationwide, including the new spot at Galleria Dallas. Her style is fun, playful and includes lots of lace.

Shemara Couture

Another fabulous designer I was excited to meet this season is Shemara. Her line, Shemara Couture, specializes in custom couture designs, from cocktail dresses, evening gowns and bridal gowns for women. She also offers custom dress shirts for men.
