To share the message of its mission to help homeless and at-risk children, Hope Supply Co. was back with its annual fundraiser party, Supply Hope!, after a break due to the pandemic last year.
The sixth annual Supply Hope! on October 26 was hosted by Dallas-based Hope Supply Co., the largest nonprofit children’s diaper bank in Texas. Year round, the organization accepts donations on critically needed items for children including diapers, diaper wipes, baby formula and more. Hope provides these items to 75+ social service organizations in North Texas, including homeless shelters, transitional living centers, school districts and state agencies.
300 guests, including Hope’s board members, volunteers and friends, attended this event at the home board member, Rob Snyder. Throughout the night, guests mingled together as they enjoyed cocktails, wood fired pizza from 400 Gradi, a live auction and a live concert by Dallas-based pop artist, SHAB. Hope’s CEO Barbara Johnson also spoke about the continued demand for diapers and other essential items for DFW children, noting a spike in demand by 300% during the pandemic.
The event raised over $100,000, with half of the proceeds coming directly from the live auction.
If you’d like to organize a diaper drive or volunteer at Hope’s warehouse in Dallas, please contact the organization by calling 214-630-5765. Hope also accepts monetary donations, where their bulk purchasing power can stretch your dollar by three times.
