My favorite part about gearing up for a new school year is refreshing my wardrobe. This past week I went shopping for new clothes, shoes and school supplies (of course!).

I was excited to attend a shopping event with local bloggers at the Famous Footwear in Plano last weekend. This was a fun evening of shopping, mingling and learning new fashion trends for the season.

Famous Footwear offers a variety of shoes for the whole family at affordable prices. Those of you also in college can understand that I’m on a student budget, so shopping here didn’t put a dent in my bank account.

The pink Nike Flex Run athletic shoes are my favorite! It’s comfortable AND pretty. I also came across new styles of Converse, Sperries, boots and more shoes.

The bloggers and I also downloaded the new Stylezine mobile app by Famous Footwear. This free app is a style magazine highlighting the latest looks and fashions featured both online and in over 1,000 Famous Footwear retail stores. Articles featured include seasonal styles, the latest and upcoming trends, behind-the-scenes sneak peeks, brand spotlights and more.
