FGI Dallas’ Night of Stars gala dazzles with star-studded glamour

In a spectacular evening of fashion and glamour, Fashion Group International of Dallas (FGI Dallas) hosted it’s annual Night of Stars gala on Friday, November 10.

Each year at the Night of Stars gala, FGI of Dallas presents awards to special guests who are honored for their career achievements. This year, Angela Missoni accepted the Lifetime Achievement award from FGI. Nasiba Adilova received the Career Achievement in Business award; Kenny Goss and Joyce Goss were named Art Patrons of the Year;  Michael Aram received the award for Career Achievement in Design; and beloved professor Marilyn Sullivan for Career Achievement in Education.

Other notable attendees included famed fashion designers Prabal Gurung and Mary Katrantzou as well as Neiman Marcus Fashion Director Ken Downing.  Vintage fashion expert, author and fashion director of H by Halston, Cameron Silver, emceed the event.

This year the gala co-chairs were Britt Harless and Heidi Dillon. Chuck Steelman was honorary chair and Ken Weber is the Regional Director of FGI of Dallas.

Guests were welcomed onto the red carpet in front of the historic Hall of State building in Dallas’ Fair Park. The Art Deco building was the perfect setting for this glamorous affair.  Attendees enjoyed champagne and specialty cocktails from Kruto Vodka upon entering the spectacular event, where models posed on the grand staircase wearing the Missoni Spring 2018 collection. A beautiful Rolls Royce from Park Place Motorcars, and exhibits featuring the FGI Scholarship Competition added to the event décor.

FGI is a global, non-profit, professional organization with more than 6,000 members representing all areas of the fashion industry.
