Ready to get into the holiday mood? Or have a “grinch” that needs a little help feeling the Christmas spirit? Then Casa Manana’s recent holiday show, ‘Twas the Night Before
Christmas: A Holiday Musical and Parody Spectacular,” creates all the smiles, tears, and feels you want just in time for Santa. Part of the 2018-2019 Children’s Theatre season presented by Regions and sponsored by Frank Kent Cadillac and Macy’s, the show runs now – through Dec. 23.
The show begins with a huge number with a familiar song that will sure to get you on your feet. But the audience finds that the story is really about Molly is having trouble finding her Christmas spirit due to her dad’s military departure.
Determined to make it a Christmas to remember, Molly’s mother takes her on a magical treasure hunt through New York City from Radio City Music Hall to Macy’s, where they encounter dancing elves and even Santa Claus himself!
Featuring Christmas parodies of some of today’s most popular songs (Justin Timberlake, Bruno Mars, Mariah Carey, and more), ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas is a yuletide spectacular guaranteed to put you in the holiday spirit! (Hey even dad loved it!)
Make sure to come early to write your own letters to Santa and also make your own hot chocolate. (Mom and Dad can even indulge in a little “hot chocolate” of their own.)
