I am so excited to announce that this weekend I will be off galavanting around the beautiful city of Seattle, thanks to Nissan!
Disclosure: This weekend Nissan is providing Genpink (ME!) with travel, food and an opportunity to test drive the new 2012 Nissan Versa! Fair warning expect lots of !!!s over the next few days.
I will be posting photos and updates throughout the weekend on GenPink’s Facebook and of course tweeting as well @elysa. Since I’m not a big fan of exploring new cities on my own, my travel buddy for the weekend is my mom! She and I have been on many wanderlust adventures everywhere from middle-of-no-where Arkansas to Florence, Italy. She’s already been researching the city and activities for us to go to while we are there. I also have a every growing comment thread from Google+ folks on things we should do while we are in Seattle. If you know the area feel free to chime in.
So question, tell me/us about your first car. Who bought it, did you love it/hate it? Is that car different than the first car you bought for yourself? ALSO has anyone owned a pink car?
SO fun! I can’t wait to hear how it is! Great opportunity too.
My first car was purchased by my dad with his $2500 tax return. I absolutely loved my 1990 Mazda RX-7 convertible, but 2 years and about $10,000 in repairs later, I realized that it would have been a much smarter idea to buy a new, more reliable car. Oh well, live and learn!
First car was a passed down chevy truck used as a farm vehicle so it smelt like manure. But living in the country having wheels was like free willie. First car I purchased myself was in college after my car was stolen. Purchased an 87 mustang convertible GT convertible. Loved it. First brand new car was a Honda Accord EX loaded. Was a great day.
My first car was a Nissan! A Nissan Sentra. ’96. I was so sad when that car died. Almost a 130,000 miles on that thing too. Have fun in Seattle! :)
