Take on the winter season with some of our favorite apparel picks. Stay warm and chic with these finds that also make great holiday gifts!
K-Deer
The K-Deer brand puts forth confidence, comfort and femininity within your look and workouts. The collection started on the East Coast by Kristine Deer and is created with American-made fabric. I absolutely love the print on their yoga pants (see below). The fabric is easy to move around in for a distraction-free yoga sesh. This one below is called the Charleston and goes for $98. (See additional leggings prints here.)
K-Deer’s colorful ‘Josephine Stripe’ pants and capris pictured below is dedicated to Josephine Rispoli, a vibrant seven-year-old girl who lost her battle to a highly malignant, rare brain tumor in 2011. A percentage of the sale of this print will be donated to Josephine’s Garden, a rooftop garden and interactive space in the Joseph M. Sanzari Children’s Hospital wing in Hackensack Hospital here in New Jersey. The Josephine’s Garden Fund additionally benefits pediatric oncology research which has already been able to fund the opening of the Josephine Elle Hartung-Rispoli Reasearch Lab.
Fabletics
In addition to acting, Hollywood star Kate Hudson started a new collection of workout clothes for women called Fabletics. GenPink editor Elysa grabbed few pairs of these stylish activewear pants – and look at how pretty they are! Customers get a fab offer with 50% off their first order.

Calia by Carrie Underwood
When I found out one of my favorite singers, Carrie Underwood, launched an activewear collection, I just had to get the deets. Carrie’s line, called CALIA, is adorable and shows off her fun and hardworking personality. From a variety of tops, bottoms, accessories and more, CALIA uses the top technology to keep you comfortable, dry and cool.
Saint Bernard
Dallas-based Saint Bernard is your one-stop-shop for heavy winter gear (if you’re going on any trips to the mountains), and you also need to check out their lighter items from the brand Private Party. These tops are comfy and versatile, so you can wear them to the gym or out running errands under your coat. ($52/each)
If a yoga mat is on your special someone’s wish list, take a look at these beautiful mats from the brand La Vie Boheme Yoga ($86/ea).
Visit the Saint Bernard stores or online for additional sales and offers this season.
Lorna Jane
The Austrian brand, Lorna Jane, has some of the cutest workout gear for women. All of their clothes are sweat resistant, allowing you to wear your clothes for a long time and during those intense workouts.
Stop by the Plano location off Park & Preston for free Pilates and yoga classes every Saturday! (I hear Stonebriar and North Park offer them, too.) Visit the Facebook page for updates and registration.
For more inspiration, take a look at Lorna’s books, which are full of recipes, meal plans, lively quotes and an overall guide healthy living. They’re currently on sale for 2 for $60.
I love these vibrant tops with girl-power sayings! (Prices start at $35 and up. Check back at the store for their pop-up discounts including 20% off all merch on several weekends this month!)
What are some of your favorite winter gear to wear while working out? Happy holidays!
