Kendra Scott, Founder and CEO of Kendra Scott Jewelry, has partnered with Raven + Lily to give back to the Austin community that has helped her grow her brand into the global company it is today. Kendra Scott is an accessories brand inspired by the personal experiences, travel, and sense of community of its CEO and designer, Kendra Scott. In partnership with Raven + Lily, Kendra has worked closely with fellow Austinite Kirsten Dickerson to create a two piece collection that will be sold exclusively at Kendra Scott stores in Texas. The bright necklace and bracelet embody an intricate beaded set hand made by the Maasai tribe women in Africa and directly supports their community.
Kendra Scott is an avid supporter of various women and children’s charities. She founded the Kendra Scott company around the core philosophies of “Family, Fashion, Philanthropy,” and Kendra’s collaboration with Raven + Lily has been a perfect pairing with her own philanthropic efforts.
“When I began my company, I was so thankful to have the support of such great people around me,” said Kendra. “Through my partnership with Kirsten and the Raven + Lily brand, this is an opportunity for me to give back to the incredible Austin community that helped me make it to where I am today.”
The collection showcases traditional Maasai jewelry techniques while incorporating the iconic Kendra Scott colors of vibrant yellow and turquoise.
“The beauty of these intricate, hand-made pieces is that they do so much more than add a fabulous piece of jewelry to your wardrobe,” said Kendra. “This collection is all about women helping women, about empowering the women of Maasai to break the cycle of poverty in their community and be the first generation to send girls to school. Kendra Scott will unveil her exclusive Raven + Lily Capsule Collection with a launch party at the Kendra Scott Flagship store in Austin, Texas at 6 pm on July 25th, 2014. Limited quantities of this exclusive collection will be sold in all Kendra Scott Texas stores located in Dallas, Houston, San Antonio, Fort Worth, Plano and the Woodlands.
