Best advice for life in your twenties in 5 words?

Build relationships, explore your ideas.

Favorite quote:

I have a hard time picking favorites. But right now, I like this quote a lot, from one of my favorite business authors: “If everything is important, then nothing is.” Patrick Lencioni

What makes you different?

One of my strengths is ideation, which means my mind is always working overtime to find connections between things, people, ideas, facts, events, that might seem unconnected to other people. I’m so glad I discovered and was able to name that strength in my 20s, because now I realize it’s something that I am using all the time at work an in life. And because I know it’s a strength, I have been able to build and develop that instead of focusing on trying to improve the areas that aren’t my strengths. If you’re in your 20s, struggling to figure out the answer to this question, I really recommend the Strengths Finder book and test that goes along with it to help you discover what makes you different and what can help you shine.

Favorite pink thing?

It’s totally silly, but I love and use constantly my pink Mr. Sketch scented markers. Yep, like the ones from grade school. Since I work on a computer most of the day, I write my daily to-do list in marker on blank white paper to give my mind and eyes a break from the computer, what I call working “physidal” (think physical+digital). That’s the pink thing I use all the time, and it just brings a little spot of color and happy into my workday!

If we were to buy you a present where should we look?

Amazon, baby. Bam.
