We had a blast attending Mockingbird Station’s Spring-a-Ding-Ding What to Wear Fashion Show earlier this week. The latest spring fashion trends were featured on the runway by the gorgeous models. As you may already know, Mockingbird Station is home to many fabulous retail shops. The models at the event showed off a mix of apparel and accessories from stores such as Movida Boutquie, Francesca’s Collection, American Apparel, Relativity Outdoors (my personal favorite!) and many more. The audience got a sneak peak of the upcoming spring collections from the stores, and the models sported an overall Vegas-styled theme.

Among the trends included chunky and layering necklaces, neon apparel and shoes, sequins stitched on clothes and purses and cute camouflage pieces.

The panelists provided their fashion insights while the models hit the runway. Lisa Petty, editor of DFW Style Daily, headed the panel, and other members included Priya Rathod and Sean Charles (both from DFW Style Daily), Cynthia Smoot (of Oh So Cynthia) and Ugo Ihemelu (FC Dallas soccer star).

The event concluded with a rockin’ performance from Ricki Derek. Thanks to Mockingbird Taproom and Deep Eddy Vodka for the complimentary bites and drinks!
