Milk and chocolate just go well together. Everyone knows it. That’s why I was super excited to try this recipe for One-Two Punch Wonders from The Breakfast Project as part of my continued work as a Milk Mustache Ambassador. Cold milk and bite-sized, chocolaty treats – what’s not to love?
For those of you who aren’t familiar with The Breakfast Project, it’s a movement created to celebrate breakfast and encourage healthier choices (like milk) in the morning. It aims to show the value of a good breakfast (it is the most important meal of the day after all) and inspire Americans to start their day with a healthy breakfast that includes milk.
Now on to the recipe. We did modify it a bit by switching the ½ cup of peanut butter for ½ cup of Nutella. We wanted these to be really chocolaty! Well, and because nutella needs no excuses.

As we were mixing everything in our KitchenAid mixer, we noticed our cat was protesting the noise from the safety of the top of our refrigerator. I’m sure he still enjoyed all the delicious smells coming from our kitchen up there.
And here’s the finished product! These turned out great and our kitchen smelled heavenly. But we were surprised the recipe made 48 mini-muffins instead of the 24 the recipe lists. These would be great for a quick holiday gift for friends. Or you could bring these to your next dessert swap. Everyone is sure to enjoy. Just make sure you have plenty of milk on hand!
Disclaimer: As a Milk Mustache Ambassador I am working directly with the The National Milk Mustache “got milk?” Campaign. I am being compensated for this series. As always, opinions expressed here are my own. My love of these campaigns runs deep friends! And Rory’s coworkers can vouch for how good these turned out!
Yum! Those look fabulous! I’m pinning for later :) My oldest daughter is a certified Nutella junkie.
These do look great. Pinning to make for my son during Christmas break!
So yummy! Anything with Nutella is a winner in my book ;)
