We had an awesome opportunity to try out P.F. Chang’s latest menu items this week, so we took the chance to take a break from usual and see what the new offering is like.   

They’ve recently rolled out their new menu, and it includes several new items, including new sushi and maki items, and small plates that are great for when you want to eat light or build a little variety into your meal. We opted to try a little bit of everything, so the small plates were perfect. 

Everything we tried tasted deliciously fresh, and the lighter options left us happy and satisfied while avoiding the “food coma” that often accompanies a big dinner at a restaurant. That doesn’t mean we left hungry, though. Not by a long shot! We started out with the latest cocktails, Red Sangria and a Twisted Whiskey Sour, coupled with Saigon Summer Rolls. I’ve always loved the fresh flavor of summer rolls, and the sweet chili sauce that came with these for dipping is delicious!

For the main course we decided to mix it up a little. We had their already famous, but oh so delicious Chicken Lettuce Wraps, a Dynamite Scallop Roll from the new sushi menu (scallops are my fav and this roll did not disappoint), and the Ahi Tartare with Avocado. 

Last, but definitely not least, we couldn’t leave before we tested out our awesome server’s desert recommendation. We couldn’t make up our minds, so we tried both the Great Wall of Chocolate, and the very unique and decadent Banana Spring rolls which are a must have!
