GenPink Picks: NBC’s Smash & Season 1 DVD Giveaway

NBC’s Smash, one of our favorite prime time musical shows, is releasing its first season on DVD on January 8 (Universal Studios Home Entertainment). Relive the music, scandals and drama of this popular hit show while filming for the second season is underway. The characters dream of making it on Broadway, and the show takes you on their dramatic journey.

In addition to the gorgeous on-and-off Broadway outfits, the first season brought us an awesome cast featuring Debra Messing, jack Davenport, Katherine McPhee and Angelica Huston. The lineup of guest appearances was just as fantastic with Nick Jonas and Uma Thurman.

  4. Great giveaway – I sort of couldn’t keep up with Smash around the middle of its first season and would love the chance to catch up!

  7. LOVE the show! My only disappointment was that at the end of the season, we didn’t get to see the Bombshell show from beginning to end. I thought that was the PERFECT season finale….but I guess they are still doing Bombshell in Season 2. Someday, I hope we see the whole thing!

  23. It’s a good series with a talented cast. Also, it’s cool to see Katherine McPhee on television again as she performed quite well as the runner-up in her season of American Idol years back. Very good voice.

  25. I started to watch the first season and I really liked it but due to unforseen circumstances I missed a lot of episodes and now I’m so far behind!! I would love to win this to get caught up a little lol
