TopGolf, the premier golf entertainment complex, celebrated its new location in The Colony last week with an exclusive, star-studded party. The Colony marks TopGolf’s 10th worldwide location.
The event featured music and entertainment from DJ Lucy Wrubel, a live art demonstration from Red Bull’s Canvas Cooler Project, prize giveaways, complimentary hors d’oeuvre’s, signature cocktails and, of course, TopGolf play.
Among the red carpet crowd included many of my favorite athletes: Troy Aikman, Tony Romo, Bradie James; Jordie Benn, Tyler Sequin, Brenden Dillon, Cody Eakin, Ian Kinsler, Hunter Mahan and Colt Knost. Even the mayor of Dallas, Mike Rawlings, was in attendance. Additional guests included TopGolf The Colony’s Platinum Members, community leaders, media and social media contest winners.
TopGolf The Colony opened to the public on Nov. 4 and is the company’s third location in the Dallas/Ft. Worth metroplex. Constructed by ARCO/Murray, the three-level facility includes: 102 climate-controlled hitting bays, a full-service restaurant and bar, more than 225 high-definition flat-screen TVs, a rooftop terrace with a stage, and 3,000 square feet of private event space. The company hired approximately 450 people to staff the site, which it expects will serve more than 400,000 visitors its first year of operation.
Even if you’re not a golfer, like me, TopGolf provides an entertaining atmosphere for all ages. The food and drinks are amazing and very creative. You’ll definitely have a great time at TopGolf if you haven’t been there before. Check out their website for more details, including a Black Friday offer.
