While a bit deep for a Monday morning, I was very inspired by a guest post I stumbled across today written by Sid Savara, author of Analysis Driven Personal Development. The post, We Have What It Takes, is a tale of dedication and the lessons of struggling and working for something that’s important.
The morale of the post is in the following closing three sentences (but I highly recommend you read the entire post):
We struggle because we believe the journey is worth it.
We struggle because we want to improve ourselves.
We struggle because we know we have what it takes.
If I had to pick one word to describe life as a twenty something I’d certainly choose “journey”. One of my favorite quotes says “Everything will be okay in the end. If it’s not okay, it’s not the end.” The times of struggle we go through are there to help us grow, much like the story of Albert. What do you think?
I have to say I love this post. It is very true. Just thought I would also share, that I also love the quote you live by. The funny thing is, that has been my life motto for about the last year. In fact, I say it so often, that friends and family quote it back to me when I am struggling. They love the inspiration it brings, and so do I! Happy New Year!
